Pulau Mabul Semporna

Only 15 minutes by speedboat from the famous Sipadan Island, Mabul is recognised as one of the best macro and muck-diving sites in the world. This small island is fringed by sandy beaches and perched on the corner of a huge sprawling reef. Blue ringed octopus, mandarin fish, lionfish, frogfish, moray eels and spike-fin gobies are definite shoe stealers in the relatively shallow waters. Mabul is slightly larger than Sipadan and has several resorts as well as a local village.
