Menara Tun Mustapha (sabah foundation building)

Situated about 5km from the city centre, this impressive building is a circular tower of steel and glass. It has a central core with steel brackets supporting each floor. Standing at 30 storeys high, Menara Tun Mustapha is an icon of modern Sabah. When it was completed in 1977, it was one of the only three buildings in the world to have such design concept. The building has an auditorium, two mini theatres, an exhibition foyer, a gymnasium, a kindergarten and a research library.
