Gaya Street (Sunday Market )

One of the city’s most lively and colourful markets, the Gaya Street Fair is the place to experience a slice of Sabah’s lifestyle. The fair is held every Sunday from 6.30am to 1.00pm and the traffic is closed to make way for the hundreds of stalls that sprout along the roadside. Visitors can find everything from batik sarongs, antiques, arts, handicrafts and souvenirs to footwear, toys and food.
