Danum Valley Conservation Area Lahad Datu

Located 70km from Lahad Datu, this conservation area is a sanctuary for endangered animals including the Sumatran rhinoceros, Asian elephant, clouded leopard, proboscis monkey and orang utan as well as some 270 species of birds. The thriving paradise boasts spectacular waterfalls, meandering rivers and a canopy walkway to view the abundant birdlife.
